FOOTBALL

PLAYER / COACH / CHAIRMAN

Bob has had a remarkable and ongoing relationship with football from a very young age. Together with his father he set up a highly successful junior football club in Slough with more than 150 playing members. He was a rated striker with a powerful left foot and legend has it he kept Peter Osgood out of the County team! As a Coach he developed a rich seam of talent that brought him to the attention of Arsenal FC where he became a talent scout. He went on to manage Walton & Hersham, Egham Town and Maidenhead Utd before swapping the tracksuit for a lounge suit and entering the Boardroom. He has been involved as a CEO with clubs including Oxford City, Slough Town, Waterford United and Bohemians and has been Chairman of Beaconsfield FC and Burnham FC. Through his effort and contribution each of these clubs have benefitted from success on and off the field. His passion for football means personal and professional careers are intertwined. The great benefit of this is a deep appreciation and understanding of football, the people and the business from bottom to top.
